Cats and dogs can reproduce at an alarming rate! Help your dog or cat live a healthier, happier life by getting them spayed/neutered!

We have the following three programs: Fix-a-Feline, Fix-a-Pit, & Feral (Community) Cats. When you purchase your voucher below, you will receive a voucher to make an appointment with one of our partner vets. Read through what each vet includes before making your choice. You also may need to travel to get a quicker appointment.

Unless otherwise noted, our vouchers are for individuals and not organizations (unless authorized).

Fix-A-Feline Program
(Friendly cats only)

Fees below vary based on whether rabies vaccine is needed.

Females - $60.00 (no vaccines)
Females - $70.00 (with vaccine)

Males - $50.00 ( no vaccines)
Males - $60.00 (with vaccine)

Vaccines include a rabies vaccine at all partner vets. FVRCP vaccine is included at all partner vets except Cleveland Park Animal Hospital Greer, the Greenville Humane Society and Triangle Veterinary Clinic, where it can be purchased at the time of service, payable directly to the veterinary clinic. FVRCP vaccine is required at the Greenville Humane Society.

Fix-A-Pit Program
(Includes Pit Bull Mixes)

Greenville County Animal Care offers free pittie/pit mix spay/neuter for Greenville County Residents only. Click here for more details.

Spay/Neuter – $80.00 (no vaccines)
Spay/Neuter - $90.00 (with vaccine)

Vaccines include a rabies vaccine at all partner vets. Distemper vaccine is required but not included at the Greenville Humane Society; at other clinics, it can be purchased at time of service, payable directly to the veterinary clinic.

Feral/CommunityCat Program
Must be in feral cat trap

Before you apply with us, check to see if your county offers free spay/neuter of feral cats. Check out our resources page for more options to help with ferals. 

Spay/Neuter – $25.00

All vets include a rabies vaccine; FVRCP vaccine included at all partner vets, except Holmes Veterinary Clinic, Swamp Rabbit Animal Hospital, and, Triangle Veterinary Clinic, where it can be purchased at the time of service, payable directly to the veterinary clinic.

  • Due to the long wait times for appointment times with our partner vets, we recommend that you check out our Resources Page tab prior to purchasing a voucher from us to ensure their isn’t a better program for you.

    Speak for Animals does not have our own spay/neuter clinic. We provide vouchers for clients to take to partner veterinarians to provide low-cost spay/neuter. Once an application for spay/neuter is completed, we provide vouchers with the names of our veterinarians who work in the specific program. Clients contact the veterinarian to make their appointments and bring their voucher in when they drop off their animal.

    We are looking for partner veterinarians who have a compassion to reduce overpopulation and serve our clients. We really value the time and commitment of our partner veterinarians who make a real difference in the Upstate. Contact us at news@speakforanimals.com to get involved.

  • You can have your dog or cat spayed/neutered as early as 8 weeks old by the Greenville Humane Society or Animal Allies. Check with other veterinarians in our network to see their age requirements.

  • It will be included on your voucher.

  • It will depend on the age, breed, and health of the animal. It is at the discretion of the veterinarian.

  • We love helping feral or community cats with low or no-cost spay/neuter. However, we do not have volunteers who can help trap. Please contact us and we will try to help you find someone.

  • No, you will be able to take your pet home the same day.

  • It will depend on the veterinarian you chose. Ask them to see if they can include that with surgery. You will pay the additional fee.

  • You will contact the veterinary office that did the surgery.

  • Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to help with rescue.

  • Yes – and we encourage it! You will just pay the veterinarian the extra fee.

  • Please contact us if you need financial assistance. Give us a full description of how many animals need spay/neuter assistance, etc. We may or may not be able to help you.

  • Please print and complete this request and release form and mail it in with your payment.
