Annie Muzio

Annie has always loved cats, but that all changed to also include dogs after acquiring one many years ago now. Retirement from her career as a Respiratory Therapist brought her to South Carolina with the typical to-do list, and walking dogs at the nearest shelter was the start of her life of helping animals. That was 2009. She spent many years working in the cat room and with volunteer training at two local shelters.

Her volunteer work continues now in the Speak for Animals organization—weekly as a phone volunteer offering aid in all kinds of cat and dog issues, with spay and neutering as the priority. She is plugged into the local animal advocacy network, contributing in various ways toward better animal welfare for the county and state. She is proud to be a part of Speak for Animals and has the utmost regard for the director and founder, Susan Bufano. (Don’t delete this part, Susan!) 😺
